PLEASE NOTE: The Morning Program at Ward is NOT open. If you are interested in the Morning Program at Ward, please consider signing up for the interest list. Once we gather sufficient interest, we will notify you regarding the program's opening and the registration process. 

Welcome to the Morning Program!

Who it's for:

  • Any TK-5th grade student that attends a DUSD elementary school 
    • Students must attend the program at their home school
  • Offered at all DUSD elementary schools that meet the minimum number of enrolled students
    • Minimum number of enrolled students is 20

What's included: 

  • Breakfast provided by DUSD
  • Social-emotional learning
  • Enrichment activities
  • Light fitness

Program Info:

  • Monday - Friday starting August 13, 2026, for all 180 academic school days
    • The 180 academic school days include all minimum days and early release days, but do not include holidays and school breaks.
  • Program hours are 6:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
    • Students can be dropped off at any time during program hours.
  • Program costs- $150 per month plus a one time $25 registration fee
    • The monthly fee takes into consideration holidays and school breaks.
    • Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable.

The following charges are assessed once for the entire duration of the program.

Registration Fee $25.00

Restrictions

Participants must currently be in grades transitional kindergarten to 5.

Registration period

Registration starts on 07/22/2026 and ends on 05/28/2027.

Participants may register at any time during this period.
