Soccer Class (12 total sessions) is designed to introduce students to various soccer skills. The class will focus on teaching young athletes of varying skill levels techniques and skills to improve their game. Students will learn and improve in the following: dribbling, passing, defense, shooting, agility, coordination, balance, and more. Fun skill games will be played at every session, as every participant will have a ball at their feet, as well as interactive activities with the coaching staff and teammates. Concepts of small-sided soccer matches and positioning will be introduced gradually. The goal is to build a foundation for further skill and social development.
This youth development soccer program is taught by Home Field Advantage (HFA) - a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth sports organization. Students will build their confidence and social skills in a friendly and welcoming class. Classes will meet for 1 hour once a week.
